KinPride - TV Talk Show about the GLBTA Community

About KinPride

KinPride is an award winning 30-minute television talk-show about the GLBTA Community. View our awards on our Awards page.

The host of KinPride is Michael John Smith, who identifies as a gay man. Guests represent various GLBTA organizations, or are people in the GLBTA community who want to share their stories. Together these resources may help others deal with certain issues, or learn more about themselves, family members, and friends.

Two important elements of KinPride are the visual perspectives given to the GLBTA community; and dialogue created through telling the real stories of their lives. These elements may help dispel the myths that have been, and continue to be, perpetuated about them. After seeing their faces and hearing their voices through stories, society at large will come to realize that they are no different.
